So I guess if the link is broken, either the user hasn't dl'd the dashboard update or an avatar hasn't been created.

Xbox 360 NXE - You have been selected (part ii)

First impressions.

  • Installation: Super fast.
  • Loading avatar editor: slow.
  • Loading Netflix player: slow.
  • Double menu system: confusing at first, and crappily low resolution when you really look at it.

Overall, slow, and goofy looking. Only had enough time to make a quick avatar and realize that you need to have an actual computer next to your xbox to enable streaming. (The netflix plugin for your xbox requires you to hop on to netflix.com and enter a code). And why the hell is what you've currently selected in this "new interface" all the way to the left? I kept looking towards the center of the screen and being confused as to what was really selected.

What really bugs me though is that for some reason, everything's resolution was super crappy. Like 480p crappy. Jaggies, and just a low-resolution feel. I dunno what the deal is. Checked the xbox output resolution and it's still good 'ol 1080i.

I'm not saying I hate it. I'm just saying it may take some getting used to.

I've tried Rudder and Quicken online, and neither were quite what I was expecting as far as financial management software was concerned. So if you're comfortable enough to provide a third-party website with all of the passwords to your banking and credit institutions' websites, Mint's the way to go.
